What is the area like?
The resort of Meribel was founded in 1938 by British skier Peter Lindsay, when he visited the town of Les Allues. He imagined how the area would be perfect for a ski resort. The development of the area continued to create five villages. Les Allues (1,100m in altitude) is the original site of the Meribel resort. The village is filled with Savoyard chalets and refurbished barns along narrow streets. Meribel-Village sits at 1,400m in altitude and has been growing in size and importance since the 1990s. Before then, only a few chalets were in place in the area, but now it is connected by the Golf, Ski lift and has easy access to Meribel Centre.
Where are the ski chalets?
These are the only, new-build stand-alone chalets currently available in the charming hamlet of Meribel Village. These two individual chalets occupy a prime location, just steps away from ski lifts, pistes, restaurants and shops. Thanks to their south-west orientation, they also boast breathtaking views over the valley and the picturesque village centre.
What are the ski chalets like?
Made from beautiful, traditional materials, these chalets feature Savoyard-style facades and the interiors will be finished in a contemporary style with large windows, fireplaces and spacious open-plan living areas.
In addition, the residences benefit from a cinema room, spa facilities, a private gym and a sunny terrace.
With an average of €15,840 per sqm, these rare new-build chalets are well-priced for Meribel Village and competitively priced when compared to Meribel as a whole, as properties in the Rond Point des Pistes area can command as much as €30,000 per sqm.
While slightly secluded, which is a part of its charm, Meribel Village has easy access to the centre of the resort thanks to a complimentary shuttle bus. Plus, the Lapin Piste connects the centre of Meribel to Meribel Village, which means that it will be possible to ski back to Meribel Village directly and walk to these chalets.
