What is Val d'Isere, French Alps like?
The resort has easy access to more than 300km of slopes, ranging from challenging pistes for advanced skiers to gentle slopes for intermediates and beginners, thanks to the extensive lift network that connects Val d'Isère with neighbouring Tignes. Experienced skiers should check out La Face, a notoriously difficult black run built for the Albertville Winter Olympics in 1992.
This resort not only provides access to excellent skiing, but it also has an electrifying après-ski culture with a dizzying array of top restaurants and bars. La Folie Douce, which is located at the top of the Daille Gondola and has bars, various eateries, and, of course, live music, is one of the most iconic apres-ski spots.
Val d'Isere, a Famille Plus resort, is an excellent choice for families due to its infrastructure and abundance of child-friendly activities on and off the slopes, such as ice skating, swimming, and dog sledging. There are two beginner ski areas in the resort and a good selection of ski and snowboarding schools.
Although summers in Val d'Isere are not as busy as in lower-altitude resorts, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy during the warmer months, including hiking, cycling, horseback riding, and tennis. In addition, skiing on the Grande Motte glacier in neighbouring Tignes is possible for ten months of the year.
Where are the apartments in Val d'Isere, French Alps?
This interesting project is located in the sought-after Rond Point des Pistes neighbourhood, at the intersection of the 'Le Plan' and 'Santons' slopes at the base of the Solaise. This means that in the morning, owners can ski down to the main snow front, where the Solaise and Bellevarde pistes are located, and then return home.
The charming town centre is just a ten minute walk or two minute ski down from this sought location. Restaurants, boulangeries, bars, and shops abound in the town centre, providing everything you'll need for an extended holiday in the Alps.
What are the apartments like?
This modest collection of seven apartments, designed by a famous local developer known for their craftsmanship, will feature a wood and stone exterior and sloping roofs, complimenting the exquisite architecture characteristic of Val d'Isere. The fact that the majority of the units are penthouses is one of the project's features. All of the properties have stunning views of the mountains and slopes, as well as lots of outdoor living areas to enjoy the scenery. On the terraces of certain residences, there are also jacuzzi baths for added luxury.
Private swimming pools and spas with saunas and steam rooms are available in many of the apartments, making them ideal for relaxing with friends and family. There is also a concierge service and a common games room with a snooker table and table football.
Future owners will be able to choose the layout of their flat, as well as the interior design and finishes, to put their mark on the property. All of the units come with ski lockers, double garages, and cellars.
Because of the resort's severe development limitations and location within a valley, new-build property opportunities in Val d'Isere are becoming increasingly scarce. This exclusive collection of ski-in, ski-out apartments is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Despite the fact that these apartments are being offered with no rental obligation, they are expected to do well in the lucrative short-term rental market due to their great amenities and convenient location.
Owners who decide to rent out their apartment can do so using the development's hassle-free management service and will have the option to reclaim the 20% VAT from the property purchase price.
