A brand-new ski development was recently launched right in the heart of the Swiss Alps in Grindelwald. It will include luxury one-bedroom apartments with 53 m² of space, as well as three-bedroom properties with 190 m² of space.

All have fantastic views across the mountain and large balconies that are perfect for summer barbecues, while fireplaces will help keep you warm in the winter. Purchasers have the chance to choose their own fixtures and fittings. There are 12 apartments in this boutique development which are currently under construction, and these are expected to be available for occupation by August next year.

It is easy to see the attraction of owning a property in the Eiger village of Grindelwald as it has a reputation of being one of the most popular and cosmopolitan holiday destinations in Switzerland, and is the largest ski resort in the Jungfrau region. It’s been attracting visitors since the end of the 18th century, and is a great all year round resort with 300 km of walking trails nearby during the summer, while in winter it can offer two different ski regions.

There are around 160 km of pistes with 30 lifts going up to an altitude of 2,500 m, and there are 80 km of winter walking trails with magnificent views across the peaks and glaciers. In addition there are 60 km of toboggan runs, including a 15 km run which is the longest in the Alps. Of course beautiful Grindelwald has lots of different summer and winter activities available to keep visitors entertained.
