Avoriaz is a modern French mountain village in the wonderful Alps, located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil which is one of the largest ski areas in the world comprising of twelve resorts between France and Switzerland. The closest airport to Avoriaz is Geneva International and the transfer time is only 90 minutes. You can also fly into Chambery and it will take 2 hours to reach Avoriaz from here. There are excellent shuttle buses, private car hire or taxis you can use to transfer you to Avoriaz.
