Featuring steeper sustained pitches and 20,000 acres of off-piste out of bounds areas for the more adventurous skiers. 4. Le Tunnel Resort Alpe d’Huez, France
When you are ready for the ultimate in black course skiing, check out the Alpe d’Huez Resort in France. The Alpe d’Huez features the longest black run on the European continent, but Le Tunnel at Alpe d’Huez takes it up another notch. The Tunnel is a 60 meter horizontal passage winding through a rock passage. At the end of the tunnel, the course breaks away to the left, like an out of control roller coaster, catching you off guard if you are not prepared.
