Skiers and owners of ski homes who simply can’t wait to get out to the Alps should treat themselves to a visit to the Ski and Snowboard Show, which takes place at Earls Court 2 in London from 30th October to 3rd November and EventCity in Manchester from 25th to 27th October.
Visitors to the shows will have the chance to claim one of 20,000 free lift passes to a selection of ski resorts, including the Trois Vallées and Chamonix in the French Alps, when they book their ticket, making this year’s ski trip just that little bit easier on your bank balance.
The shows are a good opportunity to learn more about resorts in the French and Swiss Alps, as a number of resorts’ tourist boards will be exhibiting, alongside ski holiday firms, suppliers of ski equipment and clothing – many offering discounted items at the show.
Other free attractions organized by the show will include an ice rink and curling lanes, instructors offering lessons for all level of skiers, a snowboard simulator, petanque, tubing, play things for children’s, après-ski style mountain bars and wine tasting and seminars on all aspects of skiing and visiting ski resorts, including a talk by Graham Bell, former British Olympic skier, TV presenter and journalist.
On the evening of 1st November, leading operators in the ski and snowboard industry will be recognized at the show’s World Snow Awards, attended by the great and good of the snow sports industry.
