Club Med Les Arcs Panorama Opens With Rave Reviews

Posted on 24 January 2019

In December 2018, Club Med opened Les Arcs Panorama, and Trip Advisor reviews indicate it got off to a flying start. While other hotels and all-inclusive resorts usually suffer teething problems during the first three months of opening, Les Arcs Panorama has bucked this trend by scoring a staggering 4.5 out of 5 from 94 Reviews on Trip Advisor.

Sitting in the famous Paradiski area, next to Les Arcs 1600, hotel guests are on the doorstep of 425 kilometres of slopes and some fantastic landscape views. With the ability to ski-in, ski-out, guests have even more to look forward to, because Les Arcs Panorama is designed as a family-friendly destination with childcare facilties from 4 months to 17-year-old teenagers.

Kids separate into four clubs dependent on age, including Baby for 4 to 23 months, Petit for 2 to 3-year-olds, Mini for 4 to ten-year-olds, and Passworld for 11 to 17-year-olds. Kids aged four and above can also take ski lessons.

About Club Med

Their success with this latest resort is keeping in par with earlier accomplishments. Open since 1956,  Club Med, are experts at providing luxury, all-inclusive holidays, and are now the world’s largest ski travel operator. While the name “Club Med” makes many think of sunshine Mediterranean holidays, ski resorts across France, China, Switzerland, and Italy now make up a third of their portfolio.

Owned by Fossum Tourism who bought the company for a staggering 1.09 billion in 2015, Club Med isn’t holding back. They have plans to upgrade and renovate existing French ski resorts, and open more in other prominent ski areas of the world, including Canada, a new market for them.

It’s not unusual for Club Med to look to dominate the French ski market, since a recent survey compiled by them revealed British skiers in Europe prefer France. The study also asked skiers about other aspects of their holiday such as equipment, apps, and value for money and talked about the potential outcome of Brexit on the British holiday market.
