What is Val d'Isere, French Alps like?
The resort has easy access to more than 300km of slopes, ranging from challenging pistes for advanced skiers to gentle slopes for intermediates and beginners, thanks to the extensive lift network that connects Val d'Isère with neighboring Tignes. For experienced skiers, La Face, a notoriously difficult black run built for the Albertville Winter Olympics in 1992, is a must-see.
This resort not only has great skiing, but it also has a vibrant après-ski scene with a dizzying array of top restaurants and bars. La Folie Douce, located at the top of the Daille Gondola and featuring bars, various eateries, and, of course, live music, is one of the most iconic après-ski spots.
Val d'Isere is an excellent choice for families due to its infrastructure and abundance of child-friendly activities both on and off the slopes, such as ice skating, swimming, and dog sledding. The resort has two beginner ski areas as well as a good selection of ski and snowboarding schools.
Although summers in Val d'Isere are less crowded than in lower-altitude resorts, there are still plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy during the warmer months, such as hiking, cycling, horseback riding, and tennis. Skiing on the Grande Motte glacier in Tignes is also possible for ten months of the year.

Where is the chalet in Val d'Isere, French Alps?
This ski chalet has quick ski-in access by the Verte path and is situated in a charming and tranquil neighborhood on the edge of a forest. The main ski lifts are a nice 10-minute walk or even shorter drive or free bus ride away.
You can find a supermarket, a bar, and a ski shop in the immediate vicinity. You can easily walk to the picturesque Val d'Isère centre, where you'll find a wide variety of stores, bars, and eateries serving both local specialties and cuisine from across the world. The renowned Table de l'Ours, located in a luxurious hotel and serving delectable, straightforward contemporary food, is one not to be missed.

What is the chalet like?
This brand-new home will be constructed in a traditional chalet style with a natural stone exterior, wooden balconies, and a sloping roof. It was developed by a renowned developer renowned for its top finishing and is brimming with Alpine charm. This three-story chalet has five double bedrooms totaling 246 square meters, many of which have en suite bathrooms with dual sinks.
This chalet's 53m2 open-plan living space, complete with a welcoming stone and wood fireplace and set on the top floor beneath a striking cathedral ceiling, provides plenty of space for spending quality time with friends and family. The living room is light and airy, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass door that opens to a charming balcony with views of the Pointe du Front. Head to the spa on the first floor for some well-deserved relaxation, which includes a jacuzzi, a fitness area, and a sauna.
Finally, this home also boasts a ski room, laundry room, and three underground parking spaces.

Property Summary:
Because of the town hall's strict building restrictions, fewer new-build or renovated properties enter the market in Val d'Isère each year. As a result, this brand-new chalet in a fantastic ski-in location is a breath of fresh air in a market dominated by resales and an unmissable opportunity. This new-build chalet is also well-priced for Val d'Isère, as the few new-build chalets that appear on the market here can reach nearly €40,000 per sqm.
Finally, as a new-build property, you will benefit from a lower notary fee of 2% and will have the opportunity to reclaim the 20% VAT from the property purchase price if you decide to rent it out on the lucrative short-term rental market.

Chalet price:
Five bedroom ski chalet, 246.4m2, priced at 5,500,000 euros.
