There are over 600 km of pistes in Meribel (Three Valleys) with 3 Monts ski resorts (Courchevel, Meribel & Val Thorens). The distance between the mountains is around 20 km. However, the best ski-access properties in Meribel are predominantly located in the northern part of the Meribel Valley, more specifically between Meribel Village on the south and the Saulire area on the north.

To get to them from Meribel Village, you can go either through the Mont d’Arbois piste (which is linked by a link tunnel directly to Meribel) or through the Vallon de la Chaudanne area, north of Mon Village. The views north from Meribel/Mon Village are stunning, with Mont Thabor as the backdrop. In fact, many of these northern ski-access properties will give you this same view.

Meribel’s skiing can be divided into three different seasons: The early season, the main season and the late season. `

What is the closest airport to Meribel?

Altiport Meribel LFKX is the closest airport to Meribel which is located just 9 miles away. The airport has great transport links with buses stopping outside the terminal building, offering a direct link to Meribel. You can also reach Meribel by train from Geneva or Annecy with regular services running leaving from Gare du Mont Blanc in Chamonix and taking you to Meribel Station in less than 2 hours.
