What is the area like?

Lying between Lake Geneva and the Mont Blanc massif, at the heart of the Abundance valley, Châtel is a traditional village that brings together the very best of the Portes du Soleil.

The Portes du Soleil enjoys over 650 kilometres of piste available and with the eagerly awaited the new lift system which connects Super- Châtel to the Linga ski area opened on the 31st January 2015. This new infrastructure removes the need to take a car or bus from the centre of Châtel if you want to start skiing at Linga, and therefore allows you to ski over to the Avoriaz and Morzine side of the Portes du Soleil considerably quicker as you will no longer have to pass through the Swiss resorts. No doubt this will make Châtel a great deal more popular. Geneva airport is one hour forty five drive away from these chalets.

Where are the chalets?

These wonderful homes are positioned close to the slopes, affording ski-in ski-out access for the more advanced skier and they are also very close to the Barbossine chairlift.

What are the chalets like?

The two chalets available offer massive amounts of interior space. The smaller of the two chalets is 199 sqm with an additional 37 sqm of ‘non-habitable’ which can be used as a garage, storeroom, etc and some of which can be converted.

The larger chalet boasts 251 sqm with 109 sqm of non-habitable space. In addition to their size, one of the main features is the sunny dominant position, which affords incredible uninterrupted views across Châtel and the surrounding valleys.
